VIKING DRINKING HORN, Ninian's Isle, Shetlands, 0.3 L
Extraordinary viking drinking horn with pewter terminal in a shape of a sea beast. Horn is treated with a food safe lacquer. Very pure pewter is used, but due to European regulations we sell this item only as a decorative replica. Designed and manufactured by Wulflund.
Design of the terminal was inspired by a chape from Ninian's Isle Treasure in Shetlands, Scotland. It is believed that the treasure comes from the 9th century.
